This product does not contain any artificial preservatives or waxes - please store in a cool dry environment (away from direct sunlight) to prevent melting. We use raw Kokum Butter sourced from India in our body butters. It is heavily used in the holistic community and considered very unique because although it is of a hard consistency, it melts upon contact with the skin. Kokum is one of the best butters around as it promotes the regeneration of the skin and helps to prevent dry skin. It helps to heal ulcers and fissures of the lips, hands and soles of feet. Kokum also contains 80% stearic-oleic-stearic triglycerides and antioxidant properties. Kokum mixes especially well with other natural butters and is perfect for those with sensitive skin.
